Harnessing the power of CGI, special effects technicians could for the first time in movie history, digitally create a herd of dinosaurs within a relatively short span of time. Even a creature as terrifying as a T-Rex could be convincingly created using CGI and meticulously placed within the live shots to interact with the actors.
